I love me some history. I love learning about wars.

Instead of family obligations, Christmas Eve Mass, last minute shopping, or waiting for a turkey to defrost (little miss was chillin’ in the bathtub), sister and I headed to the northern end of the island on December 24th to visit the Fort Frederica National Monument; the remnants of a fort town built in the early-mid 1700s to protect the southern boundary of the British colony of Georgia from Spanish raids. (thanks for the facts Wikipedia)
