my fave: summer afternoons

Is there anything better than eating lunch on the deck reading a good book?

The thought is intoxicating.  In reality, I was in the shade, I’m pretty much allergic to the sun since I burn so easily and piled kleenex beside me cause my allergies were so bad.

If you’re looking for an “unofficial end of summer” book, I would highly suggest The Last Summer (of You and Me) by Ann Brashares.  If you’re looking for a good sammie, try toasted rye with melted old cheddar, turkey, lettuce, and ranch – that’s what I had today; delicious.

Can it be summer forever?
